These visitors have been confirmed by Greg Biggins and Brandon Huffman in their latest Scout report.
Five star wide receiver Scottsdale (Az.) Saguaro wide receiver Christian Kirk (top recruit in Arizona) will be the headliner. Kirk has a lot of interest from many schools, particularly Texas A&M, Ohio State and USC, but if he were to stay in-state, ASU would be the place he'd go.
The other headliner among the wideouts is Newhall (Ca.) Hart WR Trent Irwin, a four-star receiver who has been plenty interested in heading to Arizona for obvious reasons below. However, Irwin is also interested heavily in Stanford too. It might be hard to pick between the two.
Irwin's teammate, ASU QB commit Newhall (Ca.) Hart QB Brady White, will also be headed to the desert. White is firmly Sun Devil and it's hard to imagine anything changing here.
Also coming:
Long Beach (Ca.) Poly defensive end Joseph Wicker: Wicker has interest from a host of schools, with UCLA probably currently leading for his commitment. But that hasn't stopped schools like Texas Tech, Notre Dame and Oklahoma from extending their hands, and Wicker has already taken a trip to Lubbock. ASU is next up on the docket, and you have to feel Wicker will give the Sun Devils due consideration.
Ventura (Ca.) St. Bonaventure wide receiver Lavan Alston: Alston has three schools heavily in the mix in Cal, Oregon State, and Utah. He's already taken one trip to Cal and Oregon State is later up on the docket. ASU comes in-between, and the Sun Devils will definitely be going hard after him if Kirk and Irwin decide to go elsewhere. This feels like a wait-and-see decision.
Bellflower (Ca.) St. John Bosco offensive guard Zach Robertson: Robertson just visited Nebraska and Arizona State is up next. With UCLA looming as the odds-on favorite, look for a decision to come sooner rather than later. The Bruins could use a commitment.
Orange (Ca.) Coast College offensive tackle Zach Bateman: Bateman is one of the top junior college prospects out there and has already taken trips to both UCLA and Oklahoma State. ASU will try and get in on the mix.
Gilbert (Az.) offensive guard Steve Miller (ASU commit): Miller committed early and is local. He's staying committed.
Salem Hills (Ut.) defensive end Porter Gustin: Gustin will be visiting Tempe, although it's unclear how much of that interest will be spent on Notre Dame-Gustin is also visiting USC on November 28th-when USC takes on Notre Dame. The Irish feel like the favorites here, although the Sun Devils could use a playmaker.
2016 Bellflower (Ca.) St. John Bosco safety D.J. Morgan: Ditto Morgan, who could be looking at both sides. Morgan is getting interest from both Notre Dame and Arizona State early on in his recruitment.
2016 Rancho Cucamonga (Ca.) Los Osos linebacker Bryce Youngquist will also be taking a look at the proceedings.
