What are all these teams doing recruiting-wise?

Los Angeles (Ca.) Salesian defensive tackle Kevin Scott is planning visits to Purdue, San Diego State, and Ole Miss. USC is trying to convince him to gray shirt ($). Is Washington in the mix ($)?

West Valley City (Ut.) two-sport star Noah Togiai has been leaning to Utah basketball for awhile, but he's interested in football too, and Oregon State has offered him for the gridiron ($). Utah hoops don't want him to play both sports. Hmmm.

Carrollton (Tx.) Hebron linebacker Angelo Garbutt has reopened his recruitment from Oregon State ($) and will visit Iowa and Nebraska. Missouri and Wake Forest are also on the radar.

Palmdale (Ca.) athlete Dameon Baber has basked off of his Oregon State pledge ($), but is looking for an offer from the B1G, probably Nebraska.

Chino Hills (Ca.) safety Philip Afia committed to Utah back in October and is in no danger of flipping to Oregon State.

Provo (Ut.) linebacker Gabe Reid has three official visits still ahead to Stanford (this week), Utah (next week), and BYU (the week thereafter). Washington State does have a strong connection via Joe Salave'a ($).

2016 Rancho Santa Margarita (Ca.) Catholic quarterback K.J. Costello is a huge target for the Cardinal, and apparently will take a visit and make a decision soon after ($). Stanford landed a commitment from offensive lineman Austin Maihen, a teammate from Costello.

Moreno Valley (Ca.) Rancho Verde offensive lineman Tevita Halalilo sticks with UCLA after a supposed near flip to Arizona State. Pretty wild.

Oklahoma City (Ok.) Casady offensive guard Josh Wariboko has Oklahoma, UCLA and Ohio State as his final three. Louisville has a shot ($). Ohio State might get another visit ($).

Long Beach (Ca.) Poly defensive end Joseph Wicker has a top three that includes UCLA, Arizona State and Texas Tech. He's taken all of his officials except to UCLA on January 23rd. Here's video from the Army Bowl discussing his recruitment (St. Petersburg (Fl.) Lakewood wide receiver Ryan Davis has received an offer from Michigan and will be in natural contact and will also visit Auburn. He's still talking to Florida, Auburn, Tennessee, Miami, Alabama, Ole Miss, UCLA, Maryland and Kentucky.

Aledo (Tx.) wide receiver Ryan Newsome has set a decision date of January 23rd. UCLA, Texas, and Tennessee are his final three.

Avon (Ct.) Old Farms tight end Chris Clark appears to be down to UCLA or Michigan, with the Bruins leading.

Montezuma (Ga.) Macon County outside linebacker Roquan Smith is taking an official visit to Michigan this week ($) and appears super stoked. Smith has a good connection with D.J. Durkin, the team's new defensive coordinator. Smith has taken official visits to USC, Georgia, and will wrap it up with one to UCLA on January 30.

Buffalo (NY) Canisius defensive end Tyrone Wheatley currently has his final official visit to Oregon, with Alabama and UCLA also scheduled and USC in a supposed top 4. But his dad just became the running back coach at Michigan, so... ($)
