(Bracket available here).

#5 - Chris Petersen, Washington Huskies head coach: Petersen hasn't coached in the Pac-12 yet, but he brings in an impressive resume spanning a decade at Boise State, winning nearly 90% of his games and generally keeping his team in the hunt for BCS titles. It remains to be seen if he can replicate that success at Washington, but he definitely will be coming in as one of the hottest new coaches in the conference in quite some time.

#12 - Sonny Dykes, California Golden Bears head coach: Dykes was brought in to try and revive a sputtering Cal offense last season, but only was able to do so at the expense of the defense. The Golden Bears finished 1-11 last season and have a lot of changing to do. Dykes has been proactive to try and find the right solution but it might be difficult at this point to imagine too much changing.

Prediction: It'll be hard for Dykes to win this contest between the excited Washington fans and intrigued Boise State fans. He doesn't have many fans at this point and it'll be hard for Dykes to get past all of that. Here's hoping he can keep it more respectable than the 2013 season. Petersen to win decisively.
