There are only two Pac-12 squads left in the top 25. Who will survive?
Washington Huskies (5th in both polls): A second straight obliteration of a Pac-12 North rival, Washington now appears to be sitting in the driver’s seat in their division.
Utah Utes (21st in both polls): Utah is scrapping and mucking their way to wins, but they stand atop the Pac-12 South.
Arizona State (24th in Coaches Poll, 27th in AP Poll): Arizona State is such a confusing football team. They’ve found wins in the least impressive way possible but they still hang around the top 25.
Receiving votes:
Stanford (32nd in AP Poll, 34th in Coaches Poll): Stanford hasn’t lost two games in a row like that since the early Jim Harbaugh years a decade ago. Are there cracks forming in Palo Alto?
Colorado (33rd in AP Poll, 36th in Coaches Poll): The Buffs have come a long way. They battled back in the Coliseum to nearly land the win.
Washington State (36th in AP Poll, 35th in Coaches Poll): After another rough September, the Cougars are roaring into October.
USC (33rd in Coaches Poll): Yeah I don’t know where these votes are coming from either. The Trojans still have a lot to prove.
Washington and Utah are slated for a huge Pac-12 meeting in two weeks in Salt Lake City. Could it be a potential Pac-12 title preview?
