The tight ends is slowly but surely making a quick return to many of the Pac-12 programs around the conference. A look at the top five tight ends in the conference who made the Mackey Award watch list.
California Golden Bears tight end Ray Hudson. Hudson’s first year back at tight end and he makes a watchlist! Hudson is quite the player and will get his fair share of touches in a talented corps.
USC Trojans tight end Daniel Imatorbhebhe. With Sam Darnold throwing you the football, you have to figure you’d get a ton of receptions thrown your way.
UCLA Bruins tight end Austin Roberts. Same thing as above, but with Josh Rosen throwing you the football. Bonus: Roberts might be the best receiver on UCLA’s team this season.
Washington Huskies tight end Drew Sample. Sample had a nice season last year, and you have to figure his production will only uptick.
Stanford Cardinal tight end Dalton Schultz. The Stanford tight end tradition is strong, and Schultz figures to be the latest player to prosper at that position.
