The Pac-12 has four quarterbacks who figure to stand above the rest, and could all be potential first or second round draft picks in the future. Let’s take a look at the Davey O’Brien watchlist candidates, which is supposed to recognize the best quarterback in college football.
Jake Browning of the Washington Huskies. Browning broke out with an incredibly solid 2016 campaign. If he takes even an incremental step forward, there could be another national title run ahead for Washington.
Sam Darnold of the USC Trojans. Darnold was outstanding last season, and all the expectations are that he should be able to replicate those results this season.
Luke Falk of the Washington State Cougars. Falk gets overlooked among the best Pac-12 quarterbacks, but he has tons of opportunity to improve even more this season.
Josh Rosen of the UCLA Bruins. Could Rosen recover from what was a tough season that was cut short by injury? There’s no denying the talent is there to rebound effectively.
