College Gameday returns to Eugene after a multi-year absence—Corso, Herbstreit and friends haven’t been in Oregon on a Saturday since September 2014, when Marcus Mariota got the Heisman campaign rolling in a comeback win against Michigan State.
Here are the games this week.
Friday night
Washington State at USC, 7:30 PM Pacific, ESPN: This is a must-win game for Clay Helton. USC has looked abysmal the past two weeks. Slowing down the Cougars will help right the ship.
Saturday
Arizona at Oregon State, 1 PM Pacific, Pac-12 Network: Both of these teams are looking for a way to six wins, so this is essentially a must-win for that to occur.
Stanford at Oregon, 5 PM Pacific, ABC: The Cardinal and Ducks are the likeliest contenders to challenge Washington for a Pac-12 playoff spot. Consider this an elimination game.
Arizona State at Washington, 7:30 PM Pacific, ESPN: The Sun Devils had some excitement for a few weeks. Reality is likely to settle in here.
