Let’s take a look at the Pac-12 players who could be on the verge of being drafted early this week. Odds courtesy of Bovada and Bookmaker. The big winners figure to be the Stanford Cardinal, who are likely to sport at least two first round picks (and potentially two top ten picks) when draft night comes along.
Running back Christian McCaffrey currently is looking like he’ll be in the lottery section of the draft, sporting an over/under around 9.5 (position he’ll be drafted) at Bovada and Bookmaker. According to Bookmaker, McCaffrey has +500 odds to be the first running back to be selected in the first round.
McCaffrey isn’t the only Cardinal expected to be taken early on Thursday. While Myles Garrett seems like a guarantee to be picked first overall (Mitch Trubinsky the dark dark horse), it sounds like Solomon Thomas is being seriously floated as the second overall pick. Thomas is currently sporting the best odds (+150) to be drafted behind Garrett.
