The UCLA Bruins have sent yet another defender in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. This one is Myles Jack, who was picked by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jack is an athletic linebacker who figures to do major things at the next level. Jack joins prominent Bruin defenders like Eric Kendricks and Anthony Barr in being picked early in the draft.

Jack was injured for much of the 2015 season due to a meniscus tear, but before that was one of the most dynamic players in college football. Jack was able to play as both a linebacker and running back. He was a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award as the nation's most versatile player his freshman season, and was an All Pac-12 second team member his sophomore season. Jack was second on the team with 88 tackles with 8.0 for loss while also defending seven passes in 2014.
