The UCLA Bruins had a busy recruiting week. One of the first big pieces of the news was the landing of running back Lentivone Lesane.

Lesane stands at 6-2, weighing 186 pounds. He has 4.79 second 40-yard dash and a 34.7” vertical jump. Lesane is ranked as a three-star running back prospect (0.822), a near top 100 running back and a near top 250 Florida recruit.
More from Bruins Nation on Lesane.
The other thing I like about Lentivone is that he’s opted for the hard road. After all, he had an offer from the University of Miami, which is very close by where he lives now. So, he could have opted to go play for the Hurricanes in nearby Hard Rock Stadium. That would have been the easiest way to go.
But, instead, he’s choosing to make the 3,000 mile trek to Southern California to go to UCLA. He sounds like a smart kid to me because, while he doesn’t say it, he is opting for the better school academically.
Here are his highlights.
