One of the greatest running backs in Utah Utes history has been selected in the 2016 NFL Draft.  Utah tailback Devontae Booker was picked 136th in the 4th round by the Denver Broncos. Booker was one of the Pac-12's most efficient running backs, keeping the Utah offense going and churning out big victory after big victory.

Booker was a two-time All-Pac-12 selection, making the first team in 2014 and the second team in 2015. Booker was one of just two Utah players ever to record back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and one of three to rush for 1,000 yards twice in his career. He also set the Ute school record for career rushing average with 120.6 yards per game and tied the school record with 14 career 100-yard rushing games. Booker finished third with 2,773 career rushing yards, as well as sixth in career rushing touchdowns (21).
