Washington Huskies spring practice review: Could UW finally win the North?

Go to UW Dawg Pound to learn more about the Huskies.

Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

This could be a very, very good Washington Huskies squad. The team looks strong in multiple areas and they have built up depth at every position. All reports seem to be that the sky is the limit for this squad, and that there are no serious weak points. The door is open for them to break through.

Most improved after three weeks (by position): "Spring Football has flown by, and a lot has changed for Washington Football in that short space in time. Roles have solidified, potential playmakers have emerged, and holes have started to be filled. So who has shown up and taken advantage of their opportunities? Here's 10 players in the purple and gold that have done just that this April. " [Scout.com > Dawgman.com]

Washington's "Death Row" Defense means business: "The Huskies' "Death Row" defense brings confidence, swagger, and competitiveness to Washington football." [Realdawg Washington Home News]

Holes? What holes?: "If there has been one overriding theme of Washington's spring football campaign so far, it's been that there hasn't been a gaping need dominating the headlines. Last year it was the search for a quarterback; two years ago it was the beginning of Chris Petersen's tenure on Montlake." [Scout.com > Dawgman.com]

VIDEO: UW Spring Ball, Day 13: "It was a beautiful morning on Montlake Monday, as the Washington Huskies commenced day 13 of their Spring Football campaign. Here's roughly 15 minutes of the Huskies in action during their warmups, as well as on offense and defense." [Scout.com > Dawgman.com]
