The Washington State Cougars had one major prospect in this year's NFL Draft, and he was selected early on. Joe Dahl is on his way to the next level, being picked 151st overall in the 5th round by the Detroit Lions. The offensive guard will be a very underrated pass protector who will upgrade a team's ability to protect the quarterback and has been getting noise as a potential elite offensive tackle.
Dahl had a very impressive NFL combine and is looking like a potential sleeper with regards to how talented he really is. Dahl excelled with great footwork and very solid measureables that stack up well to most NFL lineman, and it feels like that combine performance measured up to what he did in college with the Cougars. Although Washington State wasn't great at protecting the passer, the number of sacks given up with regards to the number of throws attempted wasn't all that bad.
Cougar fans, your thoughts on Dahl?
