What is the Pac-12 game to watch this week and why?
Andy Wooldridge, Building The Dam (Oregon State): USC at Arizona. Matt Scott and Ka'Deem Carey can score enough to force Matt Barkley to have to use all of his weapons, and make it a game for all 4 quarters. UCLA at Arizona St. has more eventual relevance to the outcome of the league race, but the game isn't as likely to produce as much viewing excitement.
Jack Follman, Pacific Takes - USC at Arizona. Arizona will be extremely tough if they can play like they did against Washington. With Arizona getting the homefield and USC maybe looking forward to their showdown next week with Oregon, this one has the potential to get very interesting if the Trojans don't play 100 percent. Also, it will be interesting to see how USC plays against Arizona as the Wildcats are like an Oregon Light this year. It won't bode well for the Trojans against Oregon if they struggle with Arizona's fast pace.
Nick Kranz, California Golden Blogs (Cal): I'm really excited to see if Arizona can score against USC the way they did against Stanford, Washington and Oregon State. But I'll throw in a word for UCLA and Arizona State, which should be a fun game with lots of offensive talent on the field, with the loser taking a big hit to their Pac-12 title chances.
David Piper, Addicted to Quack (Oregon): USC at Arizona. Classic trap game against a team that can score in bunches.
Adam Butler, Pac Hoops & Pacific Takes (Arizona): USC at Arizona. Arizona very well may have shaken their late game yips and USC appears to be catching its stride. Plus I'm going to be watching this one in a split USC-AZ atmosphere and its going to get rowdy. Get into it.
Trevor Wong, Conquest Chronicles (USC): I'll have to say USC at Arizona, too. It's the big game before the big game if that makes any sense. But for those that believe in teams looking ahead, this is it for the Trojans. Of course, that November 3 matchup at home has been circled, but they have to take care of the Wildcats first.
