USC offense, WSU upset the big surprises of Week 2 of Pac-12 football

What Pac-12 result surprised you the most from Week 2?

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Sean Reynolds, Block U: None really surprised me. I guess the Washington State-USC score. I thought more points would be scored.

Jack Follman, Pacific Takes: Just how bad the USC offense is, especially the passing game. Astonishingly, the Trojans probably have the worst quarterback situation in the entire conference and are the worst they have been at the position maybe since the 90s.

Trevor Wong, Conquest Chronicles: Washington State over USC. I don't think anybody expected a Mike Leach led offense to score just 10 points, and wind up on the right side of the scoreboard.

Patrick Flower, Pacific Takes: The nod goes to Washington State's road victory over USC in the Coliseum. USC's offense has been inept but their defense has been very good. It's shocking but maybe not all that shocking that USC lost without giving up an offensive touchdown. WSU did just enough to win in an ugly, defensive battle.

Phil Fraser, Ralphie Report: Obviously WSU over USC. No one before that game could reasonably predict that the USC offense would be so putrid. If you say you did then you are a dirty rotten liar. Paul Richardson had more yards than the entire USC team, for Chrissakes!

Jason Bartel, AZ Desert Swarm: "Utah crushing Weber State the way they did. I actually had a Utah fan call me out on Twitter for predicting that it would be close (s/o @sterbderb). Did not expect the Utes to hang 70 on somebody. Well done Utes.
