Other than UCLA, who impressed you the most from Week 3?
Phil Fraser, Ralphie Report: This might seem cheap, but I'm going with Colorado.
God gave us all that we could handle and we came through it together. We had 6 players displaced by the flooding, and coach MacIntyre even offered to put up the non-football roommates of our athletes in his own home, as they aren't covered by the NCAA emergency fund.. That's class, and makes me proud to be a Buff.
Sean Reynolds, Block U: Sean Mannion and Travis Wilson. They're both two great quarterbacks.
Jason Bartel, AZ Desert Swarm: Oregon. The way they responded after struggling at the beginning was mind-boggling to me. Their offense is obviously a little different this year with Mariota throwing for 456 yards. But crushing an SEC opponent like that, even if it is just Tennessee, is always a good thing. But that color combo, with bright yellow going up against orange and white. That was bad.
Josh Schlichter, Pacific Takes: A couple of teams really impressed me a lot this weekend. Washington and ASU both looked solid, and Cal's offense looked like the Bears might be figuring things out a bit.
Honestly, the whole conference looks really strong this season, whoever wins the conference will have to really earn it this year.
Jack Follman, Pacific Takes: Oregon. The Ducks looked uncharacteristically sloppy out the gate, but then, they did what they do and suddenly looked like they were going to put 100 points on Tennessee. They still simply don't allow you to make mistakes and stay in the game and it doesn't look good for the rest of the conference.
Anthony Cassino, UW Dawg Pound: Oregon, USC and Washington. Oregon is a machine right now. USC had a nice bounceback and looks like they might have found an answer to the QB problem, and if they have then the whole thing could turn around in a hurry and they could be a contender in the South -- though we need to see more from them before we talk seriously about that. Washington again beat a good team, and doing so on the road is not something that they've done in a long time.
