The Pac-12 Conference has named Cooper Tire as the Official Tire of the 2016 Football Championship Game to be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., on Friday, Dec. 2, it was announced today.

The partnership aligns Cooper with Pac-12 football all season long with advertising and highlight features in all Pac-12 football games on Pac-12 Networks. In addition, during the Pac-12 Football Championship Game, Cooper will have an on-field presence with stadium signage, video board features and inclusion in the roster card.

The agreement enhances the relationship between the two organizations. In early 2016, Cooper was named the Official Tire Partner for the 2016 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, which included media coverage on Pac-12 Networks.

“Pac-12 is thrilled about partnering with Cooper for our flagship football event,” said Neil Davis, Executive Vice President of Sales. “The Pac-12 stands for excellence and we look forward to collaborating further with Cooper, a company that has been producing quality tires for over 100 years.”

“This is a natural extension of our partnership,” said Jessica Egerton, Cooper’s Director of Brand Development. “Like Cooper, the Pac-12 is devoted to excellence and traditions that deliver outstanding performance, making them the perfect complement to our brand. We are excited to enhance our partnership and expand our presence in collegiate sports.”
