The Arizona State Sun Devils landed a lot of junior college prospects in this class as they continue to try and improve their defensive efficiency. One big priority was defensive end, another was secondary, but the talent is all over the place. Arizona State is looking for immediate impact players to replace the guys they're losing.
Here's a look at the junior college Sun Devils they've brought to Tempe.
ASU Football: 4-star JUCO DE Dougladson Subtyl signs with Sun Devils [Kaelen Jones, House of Sparky]: "Scout.com lists Subtyl as the No. 15-ranked JUCO prospect of the 2016 class. He is listed as a 4-star prospect and has a 0.8975 composite score from 247Sports.com, which is the 14th-best score amongst all JUCO prospects and No. 1 amongst weak-side defensive ends. Rivals lists Subtyl as a 4-star strong-side defensive end."
ASU Football: JUCO CB J'Marcus Rhodes commits to the Sun Devils [BlaneMarshall, House of Sparky]: "Scout and Rivals both rank Rhodes as a 3-star prospect. 247 sports ranks him much higher, as they see the 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back as the No. 1 JUCO cornerback as the country and the nation's sixth best junior college player."
ASU Football: 3-Star JUCO DE Koron Crump commits to the Sun Devils [Shane Theodore, House of Sparky]: "Crump, currently at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas, will graduate in December and be eligible to enroll in time for spring ball at ASU. Crump, a three-star recruit, chose the Sun Devils over offers from Baylor, Tennessee and Minnesota among others."
ASU Football: Four-star JUCO DE Christian Hill headed to ASU [Josh Nacion, House of Sparky]: "Hill has a towering frame, standing 6-foot-6, 265 pounds. Scout.com has him ranked as the top strong-side defensive end recruit and No. 9 overall in its JUCO rankings."
