Although Willie Taggart still has a ways to go in terms of making Eugene a national powerhouse, his recruiting acumen cannot be questioned up to this point.
He's a talented receiver and will be competing at The Opening as a pass catcher this week. He also has very good film on defense with the ability to play safety or grow in to an outside linebacker in college. For now, receiver looks like his best college position and his combination of size, body control and athleticism is tough to match up with.
But there are multiple major programs that could also get into the picture. Watch for pushes from Alabama, UCLA and USC (programs that he has visited), with Williams also showing major interest in Utah.
