Four-star safety Aashari Crosswell will likely take official visits to USC, Washington, UCLA

Huge safety target!

Aashari Crosswell

One of the top prospects in the West is Aashari Crosswell. The Los Angeles (Ca.) Long Beach Poly safety is ranked 117th overall in the 247Sports Composite, the 11th overall safety and the 14th best prospect in the state of California.

Crosswell recently chatted with ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren, and he had several Pac-12 programs in the mix for official visits. Among them: The USC Trojans, the Washington Huskies, and the UCLA Bruins. Also likely to get an official visit is the Michigan Wolverines. UCLA has the pedigree of developing great defensive backs, USC always finds premium defensive talent, and Washington of course is building a beast in the Northwest.

Here’s an early report from Scout on Crosswell:

He's an athletic safety who covers a lot of ground, has good ball skills, is solid in coverage and is one of the better athletes among the West Coast defensive backs. He's a fluid athlete with an ideal safety frame and looked very good over the weekend when we saw him at the Premium 7v7 Tournament.

Crosswell has also indicated that the Colorado Buffaloes and Oregon Ducks have been in frequent contact as well.
