Mike Leach offers Florida QB [CougFan]: "QUARTERBACK MAC JONES out of Jacksonville, Fla., verbally committed to Kentucky this past summer but according to Scout.com's Corey Bender, Washington State offered him on Monday."

4-star QB plans WSU visit soon, he tells CF.C [Braulio Perez, Cougfan]: "WITH THE COUGS not signing a quarterback earlier this month, all eyes are on who will become Washington State's QB in the class of 2017. CF.C spoke with a four-star prospect who has his eye on the Cougars. WSU has made his top five and he's planning to be in Pullman for an unofficial visit soon."

Third QB tells CF.C he'll visit WSU in spring [Barry Bolton, Cougfan]: "WASHINGTON STATE will be busy this spring when it comes to on-campus quarterback recruiting. Anaheim's Tyler Lytle, one of four known QBs with a WSU offer, plans on taking an unofficial visit this spring to the Palouse. In the meantime, he's been in frequent contact with two Cougar assistants."

WSU football recruiting: Arkansas QB Taylor Powell is Leach's latest 2017 target [Britton Ransford, CougCenter]: "Taylor Powell, a pro-style quarterback prospect out of Fayetteville, Ark., received a verbal offer from the Cougars this week, adding to an offer sheet that also includes Illinois, Maryland, Memphis, Wake Forest and Arkansas State."
