The timing here is extremely odd, given Davis de-committed the day he was expected to fly up to Washington State for his official visit. With just two weeks until signing day and only one additional official visit weekend on the schedule, either WSU was blindsided by Davis' de-commitment, they are close to landing another quarterback prospect or they're opening up another spot for a non-quarterback.
