Oregon State football looked very young against Michigan

How did Oregon State look against Michigan? How far away are they and where do they need the most improvement?

Avinash Kunnath: The Beavers looked good to start on the first drive! Then they looked really, really young. The team had less than 60 yards of offense the rest of the game. Oregon State depth is apparent on special teams, where the Beavers just made a load of mistakes and handed the game to Michigan. The good news is Oregon State has a solid front seven, so they should be able to spring an upset or two, but they will be fighting to stay out of the cellar this year.

Jack Follman: Not good. As I expected coming into the season, the Beavers have a long way to go to get back to being a mid-to-upper-level Pac-12 program. They need a lot of work on their offensive line. They are young at skill positions and need a lot more help up front from their linemen who are relatively experienced.

Bill Stenlund: Oregon State looks terrible. They are in trouble, a young team with new coaches and system to learn. It will be a long, long year for the Beavers.
