Utah is going to probably be rebuilding in 2016, but their schedule does allow a small window of opportunity to win the Pac-12 South. It's not too formidable and many of their toughest games are at home and winnable matchups are on the road. Can they take advantage of Rice Eccles and guide themselves back into conference title contention?
Utah has their FCS matchup with Southern Utah before getting nine days to prep for the resumption of the Holy War against BYU, a game the Utes have been winning with regularity. After hitting up San Jose State, Pac-12 play begins with six days to figure out USC. Three winnable games come after that (at Cal, Arizona, at Oregon State) before they hit the meat of the schedule with UCLA in Pasadena and Washington at home.
A bye week comes at the right time as Utah finishes up with a trip to Arizona State and a home date with Oregon; Utah finishes things off with a road trip to Colorado.
