Josh Scott named Pac-12 basketball player of the week

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year finalist Josh Scott led COLORADO to a pair of critical home wins to earn his second Pac-12 Conference men’s basketball Player of the Week award of the season as voted upon by media who cover the league.

One of three Kareem Award finalists from the Pac-12, Scott averaged 20.5 points on 57.1 percent shooting (16-28) from the field and 81.8 percent (9-11) at the foul line, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks as COLORADO posted wins over No. 9 ARIZONA and ARIZONA STATE to finish the season 16-1 at home.
