The Oregon Ducks always love to stack up on athletes who have the potential to play defensively in the secondary or offensively as a rusher or receiver. Oregon already has several athletes that have committed, including Tre’Shaun Harrison, Braden Lenzy, MJ Cunningham. The latest commitment comes in the form of Salem (Ore.) Sprague athlete Teagan Quitoriano.

According to 247Sports Composite, Quitoriano is ranked as the 10th best prospect in the state of Oregon and the 70th best athlete in the 2018 recruiting class. A three-star prospect (0.8470), Quitoriano is the 855th best national prospect who also held offers from Nevada and Oregon State.

More from Andrew Nemec of the Oregonian:

"The culture that the new staff is putting in is just really good," he said. "In my time being there, I think we could definitely go to a national championship or win one. I wanted to be a part of that."

Offensive line coach/co-offensive coordinator Mario Cristobal sealed the deal.

"Coach Cristobal has coached players that I could be if I work hard, in terms of caliber," Quitoriano said. "That was really encouraging."
