The Washington State Cougars landed themselves a running back commitment, as they managed to get Colorado verbal Max Borghi to flip from the Buffaloes to Wazzu. Washington State has needed tons of help in the running game in the worst possible way. Can Borghi provide them with the proper back who can give them that offensive burst in the backfield?

Learn more about Borghi at CougCenter.
In my not-so-expert opinion, Borghi is capital F Fast. In his highlight video, he hits the line of scrimmage about as fast you’ll see in high school. Add in his elusiveness and his quick cuts and he leaves defenders in the dust. He’s lined up at receiver a few times in his highlights but he’s mostly taking hand offs from there. Moving running backs to inside receiver is not unheard of at WSU but I would surmise Forghi is projected to stay in the backfield.
