Pods, Pods, and More Pods!
I came across this great article about the future of college football and it all evolves around, you guessed it, PODS!
The article addresses the Pac-12's geographic dilemma and proposes that the B1G and the Big 12 offer the Pac some of their own. Yes, it sounds crazy, but it makes sense! Although, I disagree with the author's theory that the B1G is going to give up the Chicago market, with Northwestern and Illinois. BUT! I do believe Nebraska and Iowa maybe on the table, same goes with Kansas and K-State in the Big 12, which would form the Mid-West pod. Ideal? No. But, it is better than SDSU, BYU, Hawaii, and Boise State.
What do you all think of my proposed PODS??!!

I liked the original Pac-12 Pod model.
I was a big fan when discussing the scheduling for 16 team conferences. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work throughout the FBS. I have this suspicious feeling we are headed toward the Big4 Conferences leaving the NCAA and a one conference Pod structure would be cool.
