Rumors are coming out that the Big Ten Network, BTN, is very likely to buy the PAC Networks and add the content to BTN. This would allow them to have tripleheaders and sometimes quadruple headers in Football and basketball.

It would also increase the are that they are able to charge full price as apposed to out of state 10cents per house hold. BTN would also be able to demand being included into local basic cable package instead of the Sports and or Sports+ package it is in some states.

With the extra content/inventory they will also be able to sell of excess games, non marquee in same time slots to CBS, ESPN, CBS, and NBC to be shown regionally and/or nationally as well as the Sport Nets for lesser games.

All this adds up to possible double and maybe even triple the payout per member( 32million currently).
