Pac-12 Football Schedule: Oregon At Arizona State The Game Of The Week

Sparky is waiting in the desert for the Duck - Christian Petersen

The Oregon Ducks facing the Arizona State Sun Devils is the game of the week, with the Washington Huskies facing the Arizona Wildcats and the California Golden Bears battling the Stanford Cardinal not too far behind.

What is the Pac-12 game to watch this weekend and why?
Avinash Kunnath, California Golden Blogs (Cal) & Pacific Takes: Oregon vs. Arizona State.
This is the litmus test for the rest of the season. If the Ducks roll, you can pretty much wrap up the conference title for them (undefeated not sure yet, but it's definitely possible). But if ASU makes it interesting, or even pulls an upset, the next few weeks in the Pac-12 promise to be chaotic.

Jack Follman, Pacific Takes: I'm going to do a cop out and pick two. Oregon at Arizona State is the most important and intriguing, as it is the Ducks first real road game with a freshman quarterback and Arizona State looks like they could be the best team the Ducks have faced so far, but I think there is a good chance that ASU isn't any better than Arizona or Washington and Oregon makes quick work of them. For pure entertainment, I say Arizona at Washington as both teams are very similar in scheme and talent level, and with both locked in at 3-3, it is a huge game for both teams.

Josh Schlichter, FishDuck (Oregon) and Pacific Takes:
Oregon @ ASU is the big game this week, although the Big Game is also an intriguing opportunity for the Bears. A lot hangs on this Thursday night game; Oregon could reaffirm their position of dominance for another week, or Todd Graham could become the biggest name in football by Friday morning.

Sean Reynolds, Block U (Utah): Oregon at Arizona State. I don't think I really need to get into why.

Ute Football Central: Oregon at ASU. Both teams are playing their first "real" competition of the season. Dying to see how ASU looks against an elite team like Oregon at home and I expect that this will be a really chippy and physical game that will be fun to watch.

Trevor Wong, Conquest Chronicles (USC): Oregon at Arizona State. We didn't know it at the beginning of the season, but the game is Thursday night on ESPN. That says enough, right?

Jon Woods, Ralphie Report (Colorado): Arizona - Washington should be a lot of fun with a lot of points and very little defense, but I really can't pick anything except Oregon at Arizona State. It will be interesting to see the environment in Tempe for the game and whether or not the Sun Devils can stick with the Ducks.
