Who is visiting Washington this weekend? Go to UW Dawg Pound for more coverage.

Uncommitted

  • Dante Pettis, San Juan Capistrano (Ca.) J Serra Catholic wide receiver: The Huskies are probably the hands-on favorite to land Pettis, but don’t count out other strong Mountain West schools like Boise State and San Diego State.
  • Greg Gaines, La Habra (Ca.) defensive tackle: Gaines has offers from numerous schools including Boise State, Colorado, Fresno State and Iowa State. Washington appears to be the favorite though.
  • Khalil Oliver, Meridian (Id.) Rocky Mountain safety: Oliver will visit Oregon next week. Oregon, Washington, Boise State and Oregon State are all in the mix.
  • Jaylen Johnson, Corona (Ca.) Centennial defensive end: Johnson is receiving interest from numerous schools, but Boise State and Washington appear to be the main competition at the moment.

Committed to other schools

  • Kalani Vakameilalo, Kapolei (Hi.) defensive tackle: Currently committed to Oregon State.

Committed to Washington (these will be crucial commitments for Petersen and company)

  • Darren Gardenhire, Lakewood (Ca.) safety
  • Joseph McIntosh, West Hills (Ca.) Chaminade safety
  • Drew Sample, Newport (Wa.) tight end
