This year, Mandel doesn't believe any Pac-12 will be strong enough to capture a conference bid for the college football playoff, as every team will suffer two losses or more to knock them below other conferences. Mandel has Oregon at 9-3 and Arizona State winning the South at 10-2, but the Ducks knocking off the Sun Devils to give every contender three losses or more.
