Who is your early candidate for best quarterback in the Pac-12?
Norcalnick, California Golden Blogs: I only see two possible answers, and I wouldn't have any qualms with choosing Marcus Mariota or Brett Hundley. I think Hundley is the better runner, and Mariota the better passer, so I'd lean towards Mariota. How both do without the services of their starting running backs in 2012 might go some way towards separating the pair.
Jack Follman, Pacific Takes: Marcus Mariota was the best quarterback in the conference last year and now with a full season under his belt and almost all of his weapons returning I only think he can get better.
David Piper, Addicted to Quack: I think you have to go with Marcus Mariota at this point, considering he was the best quarterback in the conference last season. Keith Price and Brett Hundley are the other hot names, but don't sleep on Stanford's Kevin Hogan, who played very well at the end of last season.
