Last time we looked at the NBA draft for Pac-12 players, it was the two lottery candidates in Stanley Johnson and Kevon Looney. Now we look at the first round picks for the draft. Let's take a look at the two other potential first rounders in the draft, both of whom who could land on high profile teams.
This is the Sports Illustrated mock draft from DraftExpress.
24th pick: The Cleveland Cavaliers pick Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Arizona Wildcats forward. The Cavaliers need to build up on their depth as quickly as possible to ensure they keep LeBron James for the long haul. Wing defense will be at a premium considering that the Cavs have at least two dynamic offensive threats, so Hollis-Jefferson is someone who could fit that role off the bench and add to their defensive profile.
27th pick: The Los Angeles Lakers pick Delon Wright, Utah Utes guard. The Lakers just need any good players to complement Kobe Bryant and to begin the rebuilding process, and Wright would be a solid piece who could really help out in that respect. Wright is an unselfish guard who can shoot, rebound and pass and can become a high utility player at the next level. He could be a key role player in the future and someone who might contribute next season.
