Wednesday was a UCLA type of day as the Bruins landed two big recruits to help further shore up their defensive back depth. The Bruins now clearly have the best recruiting class in the Pac-12, as they combine quantity and quality to put together an elite unit of defensive backs.
First, there was S Tahaan Goodman from Rancho Cucamonga. Goodman made his commitment to UCLA mid-afternoon.

Bruins Nation has a big-time writeup on Goodman.
The major recruiting analysts love Tahaan's potential. Rivals.com rates him as the best player to commit to the Bruins in this class to date; the 4th best prospect in California, and the #80 prospect nationwide. Scout.com ranks him as the #7 Safety in this year's class, and the 63rd best prospect nationwide. In addition to LSU, he holds offers from all the major Pac-12 programs as well as from Florida, Florida State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.
S Priest Willis followed soon thereafter, joining his friend Goodman on the Bruins. Bruins Nation with more.
There is another interesting angle to Willis's commitment. He becomes another high profile elite recruit to commit to UCLA out of state of Arizona. Arizona has emerged as a special pipe line to Westwood sending guys like Kenny Lacy ('13), Jalen Ortiz ('13), Paul Perkins ('12), and of course Brett Hundley ('10) [I didn't count Javon Williams ('12), who didn't stick around due to academic issues but at the time was a big get for the Bruins].
ASU fans are a bit upset about not landing Willis. House of Sparky calms them down a bit.
Wilsonville LB/RB Johnny Ragin III has flipped from BYU to Cal. Here's a story on his flip from CGB.
Ragin is, quite simply, a freak. At 6'2", 210 pounds, he posted a 4.71 40 and a 33.8 inch vertical jump at his SPARQ combine earlier this year, part of a combined performance that saw him rank 1st out of over 600 other competitors, and 24th nationwide. While he played both sides of the ball for Wilsonville, he will be on defense - likely at linebacker - in Berkeley, so keeping that in mind, let's take a look at the tape [conveniently split up for those interested!]
Quinton Powell has a final two of USC and Florida. Could Powell be one of the players that takes up a spot that Jason Hatcher just vacated? The decision is coming on National Signing Day.
UCLA OL commit Kenny Lacy will be visiting Arkansas this weekend on an official.
Oregon checks out a four-star DE ($). We'd guess it's probably Daeshon Hall. Hall is committed to Washington, but he's made it quite clear he's a soft verbal. Texas A&M, TCU and Baylor have made their calls, and Hall did check out College Station last weekend.. Hall did get an in-home visit from UW.
Hall isn't the only guy in Texas the Ducks are interested in. Reportedly Dontre Wilson and Demarcus Ayers are getting the full court press too. Could all three Texans end up in Eugene?
S James Johnson talkes about his ASU visit ($).
DB Patrick Enewally is expected to make a decision Sunday.
RB Pierre Cormier is done with the recruiting process. He will sign with Arizona.
DB Marcellus Pippins took a trip up to Washington State. Is he still solid?
Oregon commit Darren Carrington schedules an official to Ohio State.
Current Oregon commits Tyree and Tyrell Robinson had a reported great in-home with the Ducks coaching staff.
Colorado has S Joshua Jones on their radar. Pitt and N.C. State also there.
Former USC commit DE Kylie Fitts is ready for an official visit to Notre Dame. Priest Willis is hoping to bring Fitts and Vanderdoes along with him to UCLA.
Are the Oregon State Beavers to favorite land DB L.J. Moore? 24/7 Sports believes so.
LB Keishawn Bierria will take a visit to Washington ($) and another unidentified Pac-12 school ($).
How did Mossi Johnson's visit to UCLA go??? I don't know! You might find out yourself behind the paywall.($)
QB Sefo Liufau just wants to sign his NLI with Colorado ($) and move on with his life. OL Colin Sutton is also fairly solid with the Buffs.
WR James Ooten was offered a grayshirt opportunity with Colorado ($).
Bellflower 2014 OG Damien Mama was offered by Arizona.
Captain Christian 2014 DE Nifae Lealao was offered by Utah.
2014 Serra linebacker Dwight Williams was offered by Cal today.
2014 quarterback David Cornwell gets a Pac-12 offer straight up from WSU.
