Utah Vs. Arizona: Wildcats Picked To Struggle In Salt Lake City

The Arizona Wildcats have had their problems on the road, and they might have trouble winning their first away game on the season even against the Utah Utes. Arizona and Utah writers make their picks.

Give us your pick for the Utah - Arizona game, and explain your score prediction!

Sean Reynolds, Block U: I really don’t know what to expect. I actually think Utah could win this one because of how well they’ve played at home this season ... but I could see them losing also. Basically, this team needs to step up and play like its season is on the line, because, you know, it is.

Matt Quinney, Academically Ineligible: I’m going with the Utes 31-17. I think Travis Wilson will bounce back after a bad performance. Plus, this is Utah’s last home game and Wilson has performed much better in front of the MUSS and the home crowd.

Scott Coleman, SB Nation Arizona: If Scott isn't playing (or is playing when he really shouldn't be; see: UCLA game) I can't imagine B.J. Denker winning on the road in front of what should be a pretty raucous environment. I'll say UA loses 35-21 if this is the case.

Adam Butler, Pac Hoops & Pacific Takes: Arizona wins this game by scoring more than 35 points. If they're held below such, my assumption is that Utah did a sound-ish job defensively and likely will have scored more points than the ‘Cats. And this is a big one for Utah. They're 4-6 with two games remaining that I have to believe they can win. Same goes for Arizona so to say this won't be a hard fought game would be naive.

Kevin Zimmerman, Arizona Desert Swarm: Colorado's offensive success really seems concerning to me. Matt Scott or not, I think the Wildcats can put up the points against Utah, but I'm not sure the defense will be able to do much. Still, I see one mistake costing the Utes. Call it 38-35, Arizona (because field goals are important!).
