Six Pac-12 teams made the AP preseason top 25 this season. You can view the full poll here.
The Oregon Ducks lead the way as the current favorites to make the College Football Playoff, ending up ranked 3rd overall. A lot is expected of Oregon this season after a disappointing 2013 campaign, and Marcus Mariota hopes to trailblazer the way. The UCLA Bruins are probably the team that also has plenty of buzz to be the first Pac-12 representatives in a playoff, ranked 7th. Brett Hundley is right behind Mariota in terms of Heisman buzz and both will be looking forward to their big meeting in the Rose Bowl.
Underrated yet again will be the Stanford Cardinal; the 2012 and 2013 Pac-12 champions are ranked 11th overall. Stanford has lost plenty but have plenty of talent to fill in the rear. Three other Pac-12 teams will join the top six. The USC Trojans come up next, ranked 15th. After that come the Arizona State Sun Devils at 19th and the Washington Huskies at 25.
