Game Picks

Last week: 6-6-0
Season: 14-10-0
Home team in CAPS.

Friday, September 18th, 7:00 PM PDT
ARIZONA STATE (-28) over New Mexico

Saturday, September 19th, 11:00 AM PDT
OREGON (-45.5) over Georgia State

Per YouTube comment from JJ Birden, this commercial was filmed before last season's National Championship game with the intent to run it if Oregon had won. It's still pretty awesome.

2:00 PM PDT
WASHINGTON (-5.5) over Utah State

4:00 PM PDT
Colorado State (+4) over Colorado

The mayors of Fort Collins and Boulder have a little wager on Saturday's game. According to the Coloradoan, "If CSU wins, Fort Collins mayor Troxell and City Manager Darin Atteberry will receive a gift basket full of Boulder-made products, personally delivered by the Boulder officials. And if CU wins, Boulder will receive a Visit Fort Collins basket, also personally delivered."

WHAT?! That's the lamest city mayor bet I've ever heard of. A simple loser-has-to-wear-the-other-school's-jersey bet would be a million times better.

4:30 PM PDT
TEXAS (+6.5) over California

Here's a guide to Austin from California Golden Blogs. I would also suggest Weather Up if you want some classy cocktails, and the Interstate 35 if you get homesick and want to feel like you're in California.

5:00 PM PDT
OREGON STATE (-7.5) over San Jose State

Wow, Michigan fans hate any team named OSU.

5:00 PM PDT
Stanford (+10) over SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Check out SpiritOfTroy.org, which I can probably guess isn't the official USC Marching Band website.

5:30 PM PDT
WASHINGTON STATE (-x) over Wyoming

7:30 PM PDT
Utah (PK) over FRESNO STATE

7:30 PM PDT
Brigham Young (+17) over UNIV. OF CALIFORNIA, LOS ANGELES

8:00 PM PDT
Northern Arizona (+32.5) over ARIZONA
