3. Stanford - The Cardinal proved they belonged in the Playoff four by putting away Iowa in seemingly two seconds even if it was technically fair they weren't included. I really wish we could have seen what this team could have done against Alabama or Clemson, but we will never know.

21. Utah - All things considered, this was a good season for the Utes, topped off with a bowl win. They end up being the only Pac-12 South team who finished in the Top 25.

24. Washington State - Who saw this coming? The Cougars finish in the Top 25 and get probably the conference's second-best bowl win. A great job by Mike Leach in 2015 after most had buried him and this program.
