UCLA offensive coordinator potential candidates: Kennedy Polamalu & Lane Kiffin

The UCLA Bruins officially lost Noel Mazzone and Taylor Mazzone to Texas A&M yesterday, meaning Jim Mora needs to find himself a new offensive mastermind in the front.

There are two possibilities. Tracy Pierson of Bruin Report Online has mentioned current running backs coach Kennedy Polamalu as a potential new playcaller. Polamalu was the offensive coordinator for Lane Kiffin at USC from 2010 to 2012 before hopping on over to UCLA in 2013, although it's unlikely that with Kiffin in charge Polamalu had any autonomy in terms of playcalling.

Bruce Feldman mentions Lane Kiffin as a potential candidate because his family is still in Los Angeles. There are some connections there, with Mora expressing affection for Kiffin in a radio show a few years ago.  It'd be shocking to see him leave Alabama for what is at best a lateral move; I'd have to imagine his departure will only be due to a coaching offer.

Also of note: UCLA could get Marques Tuiasosopo to flip on over to USC, according to Bruin Report Online.
