Washington State has identified two big quarterback targets in the 2015 recruiting class and extended offers to both of them. The Cougars seem to be looking not only at just pure pocket passers, but quarterbacks who can take off downfield.

Glendora (Ca.) quarterback Matt Fink picked up an offer from Washington State this past week. Fink has offers from Boise State, Colorado, Oregon State, Utah, and Washington. Of all the three prospects that Wazzu is looking at right now, it's Fink's tape that really pops up. Fink stands tall in the pocket, has good vision, and has the jets to turn it up in the open field. Fink could fit in well in the Air Raid and give WSU an added dimension they've lacked with a running quarterback.

Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Tesoro quarterback Devon Modster has a bunch of early offers from major powers Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Boise State and Kansas. The Cougars extended their offer pretty soon after offering Fink. Modster doesn't have a very distinguished frame, but he uses the most out of it and can deliver darts. He also can scamper in open field, as the Cougars seem to be aiming for scramblers.

The other quarterback to take a look at it is Bellevue (Wa.) quarterback Justus Rogers, who has had an offer from Wazzu for awhile but has yet to land any others. You can see why WSU offered early: Rogers runs the Air Raid, but also adds a bit of open field scrambling that gives him that extra dimension.
