UCLA Baseball: Darrell Miller Jr. will miss the entire 2016 season
Redshirt junior Darrell Miller Jr. will miss the entire 2016 season. Miller has a torn labrum in his left shoulder that will require him to undergo surgery. Labrum tears typically affect the non-throwing shoulder for baseball players, and can have lasting impacts on a player’s offensive performance. Out of high school, Miller Jr. was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 34th round of the 2012 MLB draft, but decided to play and further his education at UCLA.
