5* 2015 SF Jaylen Brown commits to Cal

Cal locks down their second five-star player in the last month as Brown joins Ivan Rabb

NBC

For a while it looked like 2015 Pac-12 recruiting was going to be Arizona and then everyone else in a very distant second place.

Enter Cuonzo Martin.

Only three weeks after landing five-star forward Ivan Rabb, Martin and Cal struck another huge blow to the rest of the conference as they got a commitment from five-star forward Jaylen Brown on Friday night.

Scout originally broke the news of Brown's commitment.

Brown, out of Marietta, Georgia, was the third-best player in the country in this class, per 247Sports. He was the best remaining unsigned player as well.

Brown and Rabb with both start opening night for the Golden Bears, and there's not much of a debate, in my opinion.

Between those two additions and Tyrone Wallace announcing he'd be returning for his senior season, Cal fans now should have no reason to think this team can't compete with Arizona for a Pac-12 Championship.

Highlights of Brown can be found below. SPOILER ALERT: He's really, really, good.
