Who advised them putting it all together? Jerry West who put together the winning Lakers teams during their championship years. He vastly improved the Memphis team which had been a joke. He took the Warriors, who have made vast improvements but never had gone over the top, and gave them the decisive edge.
If I had to do one thing to get the Clippers to the next level or the Lakers to become competitive again, I'd hire Jerry West.
