Pac-12 TV Guide week four: LA travels to Arizona

Avinash Kunnath and Jack Follman rank the Pac-12 games by watchability each week.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

1. USC at Arizona State - 7:30 PM ESPN

AK: This might have been the best Pac-12 game last year, and now the Trojans are headed into Tempe after Steve Sarkisian said the Sun Devils sucked. This could be hotly contested.

JF: I don't know what the hell to think of either of these teams anymore, but I know that there is a ton at stake here and losing would be almost disastrous for the Trojans. I expect a fun, hard-fought shootout in the desert.

2. UCLA at Arizona - 5 PM ABC

AK: Jim Mora has had his way with Rich Rodriguez so far, but you have to figure that eventually the Wildcats will figure out how to handle the Bruins, especially with this game in Tucson.

JF: The winner of this becomes the frontrunner in the South for a week!!!!!! UCLA has had Arizona's number in recent years, but I think Arizona is going to get it figured out and give a serious challenge that will require Josh Rosen to bounce back if UCLA is going to win.

3. Utah at Oregon - 5:45 PM FOX

AK: I doubt that the Utes have the ability to score with the Ducks, but they can sure as heck defend them. This game was very close until the fourth quarter last year and that includes the bizarro Kaelin Clay play.

JF: My gut tells me Oregon will roll in this one, but you never know. Utah has a night defense with toughness in the front seven that could give Oregon trouble. This could be a sleeper of a game.

4. Cal at Washington - 2 PM Pac-12 Networks

AK: This is a make or break game for the Bears if they want to really make a charge. The Huskies are a team in transition and Cal should win this one in Seattle.

JF: Both these teams are coming off of good performances and this one looks like the battle for third in the Pac-12. Get it on...

5. Stanford at Oregon State - Friday 7 PM FOX Sports 1

AK: The Cardinal have destroyed the Beavers in the 2010s. I don’t see a huge reason to feel like this hodgepodge Beaver offense will buck the trend.

JF: This is your classic trap game for Stanford to come off an impressive performance and struggle on the road in a short week for an unexciting game. I wouldn't be surprised if this one goes down to the wire.

6. Nicholls State at Colorado - 10:30 AM Pac-12 Networks

AK: One final FCS casualty before we move onto the real games.

JF: Another one of these? Okay... 10:30 AM? Sorry.
