USC Defense vs. Colorado Offense
Is USC playing better, sure, but beating a bad ASU team at home doesn't quite stack up to Colorado's resume so far. Is Colorado as good as the model thinks so far, probably not, but in two more games we should know for sure (not really because of who Colorado is playing, but because the model will have more data on everyone). Colorado is just too good on defense and consistent on offense.

On the flip side I am completely flummoxed by all the pundits who think that Stanford is going to solve its utter failure at passing the ball in the middle of the season against a pretty good defense. Stanford's defense make the Cougs work for it, but the Stanford offense is going to have a tough time against this defense.

If Brady White gets the start then ASU should be very vary of how often UCLA gets home to the QB. White isn't mobile and he could take a lot of punishment, even though Bradley doesn't blitz often. Rosen and company should have another bad defense to look utterly flaccid against.
