USC Trojans to take on Wisconsin Badgers in 2015 Holiday Bowl

Can USC get win number nine?

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

The USC Trojans are going to finish their season right where last season ended: San Diego in the Holiday Bowl. They will play the Wisconsin Badgers out of the Big 10. The game will kick off at 10:30 PM Pacific, 7:30 PM Eastern on Wednesday, December 30th.

USC had a wild year, losing a head coach in Steve Sarkisian and permanently installing their interim in Clay Helton. USC started off the year with two convincing wins against Arkansas State and Idaho, but then suffered a tough loss to Stanford. After whipping Arizona State, the Trojans dropped another loss at home to Washington, and Steve Sarkisian was relieved of duty to personal matters.

Clay Helton took over and immediately led USC to a spirited loss against Notre Dame, then bounced back with a solid winning streak against Utah, Cal, Colorado and Arizona. After dropping the Oregon game, USC beat UCLA to clinch the Pac-12 South, only to be roundly defeated in the Pac-12 title game by Stanford yet again.
